Working together

Three ways I usually help.

  1. 01

A mobile engineer on your team

Remote, full-time or contract. Flutter, Kotlin Multiplatform and native Android — architecture, features, testing and store releases, working inside your process.

    Examples:BismarPurely

  2. 02

A product built end to end

An MVP or internal system across the mobile app, API, admin dashboard and deployment, with testing built in rather than bolted on at the end.

    Examples:RamtexPRsonaME

  3. 03

    Testing and release preparation

Test strategy, API and regression testing, and store-release preparation for an app that has to ship — from someone who has owned full QA scopes.

    Examples:QA engagementsPostSync Pro

How I work Build it. Break it. Prove it. Release it.

  1. 01 / Define

    Map the real workflow

Users, roles, failure points and the business state each screen depends on.

  2. 02 / Build

    Connect the surfaces

Mobile, API, dashboard, data and release tooling designed as one system.

  3. 03 / Stress

    Test the risky paths

Permissions, payments, offline state, APIs, regressions and the ugly edge cases.

  4. 04 / Release

    Ship with a clear status

Each project shows where it stands: live, in production, delivered to the client, pre-launch, beta or prototype.

Straight answers

Questions hiring teams usually ask.

What does Mohamed Elgohary specialize in?

Mobile and product engineering. Most of my work is Flutter and Kotlin Multiplatform apps, from architecture to release — several are live on the App Store and Google Play — sometimes with the API and dashboard behind them too, as on Ramtex. I also worked as a Software Development Engineer in Test, so testing is part of how I build, not a separate phase.

What has he shipped?

On the stores: Ramtex (iOS), Malam Events (iOS), iD+ (iOS), MENA Business Directory (iOS), Bismar's customer and seller apps (iOS and Android) and Purely (Android); I also worked with the team on Crepe & Waffle (Android). On the web: PRsonaME, A Life Code, Apteka Gid and the MENA Business Directory (opens in a new tab). All projects shows the status of everything else.

Can he build a whole product, like a SaaS MVP?

Yes. PRsonaME is a live subscription SaaS I built alone: React and TypeScript apps for customers and admins on Cloudflare Pages and Workers, with Supabase, Stripe billing, AI-generated content and Arabic translation. A Life Code and Ramtex show the same range with a mobile app: website or dashboard, API, Flutter app and deployment. On other projects I own the mobile apps or the QA scope, and each project says which.

What is his experience with Flutter, React, Next.js, APIs and cloud deployment?

Flutter is my main mobile stack — Ramtex, Malam Events, iD+ and the Apps Square client apps such as Purely — alongside Kotlin Multiplatform and native Android. On the web I use React, TypeScript and Next.js: the iD+ admin dashboard and Apteka Gid are built with Next.js (Apteka Gid on Supabase), PRsonaME uses Vite and the Shopify apps use Remix. I build APIs in Laravel/PHP. Deployments run on Cloudflare Pages and Workers, Supabase, Firebase, Vercel and Laravel/PHP hosting.

How does he use AI tools in engineering?

I use ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and Copilot to draft, explore options and handle routine work; the decisions stay with me. AI-written code goes through the same review and tests as my own before it ships. When a product uses AI itself, as PRsonaME and AI Descriptions do, the model's output is checked before it is used.

How can a company hire or contact him?

Email is fastest — the button is at the end of this page — or message me on LinkedIn (opens in a new tab). I'm based in Cairo and open to remote work: full-time roles, contracts and product builds. The role-specific CVs are ready to download.
